In the world of interior design, every detail tells a story. Similar to how I compose my photographs, texture, form, light, and colour work together to build a space with meaning. But what often has the greatest emotional impact - what transforms a finished room into a lived experience - is the artwork on the walls.
For designers working in Vancouver and across British Columbia, incorporating local landscapes into a project isn’t just an aesthetic choice. It’s a way to root a space in the soul of our region - its mountains, its coastline, its forests, and its quiet moments of atmosphere and light.
As a Vancouver-based landscape photographer, my work focuses on capturing the dramatic and ethereal moods of British Columbia’s wilderness. My goal for my fine art prints is simple: to bring the emotional power of our landscapes into homes and businesses, where they can elevate your design vision and resonate with clients on a deeper level.
Why Local Artwork Matters in Interior Design
1. It creates meaningful, place-based design
Incorporating regionally inspired artwork is one of the most effective ways to connect interiors with their surroundings. Whether it’s a Coal Harbour condo overlooking the North Shore Mountains or a medical clinic lobby meant to welcome visitors with a sense of place, local photographs reinforce the identity of the environment your design inhabits. When your chosen art features the landscapes your clients know and love, it becomes more than just décor, it becomes context and connection.

2. It supports authenticity in a world of mass-produced art
Artwork purchased from large retailers often lacks personality or connection.
Working with me gives you access to custom-made pieces, and the opportunity to curate artwork that isn’t found for pennies on the dollar at HomeSense or Ikea. Each one of my pieces is custom-made in partnership with the best print labs in Western Canada. All of this adds depth and intention to your project, and communicates quality and artistry to your client. Plus you get to support a local artist!

3. It strengthens client emotional engagement
People connect emotionally with landscapes they recognize. Pretty much every time I sell a print, it's because the buyer had a personal experience with the location in the photo. Whether it's a misty forest scene from the North Shore Mountains, a glacial river with the iconic Black Tusk as its backdrop, or the awe-inspiring depths of Cypress Canyon, my photos can help evoke fond memories. Design that triggers an emotional reaction leaves a lasting impression, and artwork is often the catalyst.

Looking for a Specific Location?
I've travelled and photographed the Coast Mountains from their point of origin in the forests of the North Shore Mountains, all the way up to the alpine in Bella Coola. My portfolio includes work from near or around the following cities and places in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and Northwest Territories:
British Columbia:
Delta, Surrey, Richmond, Vancouver
North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Lions Bay
Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge
Mission
Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton
Merritt, Princeton
Williams Lake, Bella Coola
Lake Cowichan, Nitinat Lake, Port Renfrew
Port McNeill, Woss, Zeballos
Nelson
Alberta:
Nordegg
Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore, Kananaskis
Yukon:
Dawson City
Whitehorse
Northwest Territories:
Yellowknife
Nahanni National Park Reserve
If there is something you're looking for in my portfolio and you can't find it, I'm happy to take a look in my archives. I've pressed the shutter buttons on my cameras hundreds of thousands of times and what you see on my website is an extremely small percentage of that. I am also available for commissions. Either way, just shoot me an email!

What My Work Brings to Your Projects
My photography is known for its dramatic, moody, and ethereal qualities - imagery that feels like a window into the untamed side of British Columbia. These are not your typical postcards or tourist views; they are atmospheric moments seen in remote, wild places.
I offer:
Fine art prints available in various sizes and substrates (frame-ready paper, chromaluxe/metal, acrylic, and canvas). I can also license my photos to clients who prefer to handle the printing side of things.
Consultation for custom placements to ensure scale, colour, and style align with your design palette. Simply send me some photographs of your space and I can create some mockups for you!
Custom editions suited for high-end residential, commercial spaces or vacation homes. Need a special size or crop? Just ask!
Local expertise and the ability to scout or create images tailored to specific project needs.

Art That Works With Your Vision - Not Against It
Successful interior design is a balance of visual harmony and contrast. Dramatic landscape photography can act as a focal point or a subtle supporting element, depending on how it’s integrated into the broader design and on the photo itself. Some of my work is what I would refer to as quiet and subtle, while some of it is louder and more demanding of attention.
With an understanding of colour theory, mood, and spatial impact, I'm able to help designers choose pieces that complement their palette and space.
Why Work With Me?
Choosing me means a few important things:
Direct collaboration: No generic stock images here, and true partnership in selecting or producing the right artwork. As much consultation as you need (or as little as you need!)
Quicker turnaround: No international shipping delays or production guesswork. I generally have the ability to place rush orders when printing through the labs I've partnered with.
Supporting a local artist and business: Something more and more clients value.
Regional knowledge: Photos that feel true to the West Coast, captured by someone who knows the landscapes intimately.
